Tybee Island Family Session | Lorenz Family

We met Katy and Dylan back in June to capture their family and their 6 month old son at Wormsloe Plantation. We were so excited to get to capture this sweet family again for their son’s first birthday during their Tybee Island family session.

We love getting to capture this sweet family, and not just because their son is the cutest thing, but because they are also fellow Ohioians. We bond over the amazing restaurants and places around Columbus, Ohio. In fact, funny story, the first time Randy met Dylan was actually in Columbus, Ohio at a rock climbing gym called Vertical Adventures.

Originally Katy choose Tybee Island to capture the sunset during their session. We were lucky enough to get a Sunday without rain. It ended up being a cold winter day here in Savannah. We chatted before the session and Katy had a couple blankets she wanted to bring for the session, and we couldn’t have been more glad.

It was cold, but we made it work and got to capture their son’s 1st birthday! We hope to get to capture more for their family over the years, because getting to them through the different stages in their life is why we love family photo sessions!
