There is always a fun time when you find out your brides sister is now your cousin. When Karlee and Lorence reached out to me I just knew she looked familiar! But I just couldn’t place her. Until I realized her last name was also the last name of the my cousins recent bride. Sometimes being in the wedding industry crazy things like that happen. But we couldn’t have been more blessed that Karlee and Lorence chose us to photograph their Columbia Wedding at The Lace House.
You would think having an October wedding would warrant at least a couple degrees cooler weather, but Mother Nature proved us wrong at their October 5th wedding with highs in the 90’s. Regardless of the weather I think everyone including us had a great time at their wedding.
One of the most unique things about their wedding that I hadn’t seen before was offering champagne as their guests walked into the ceremony area to enjoy during the ceremony. And my favorite detail of their wedding was the “Love is” signs that filled the venue. Karlee and Lorence had asked their guests to finish the sentence “Love is…” they had them all made into signs for everyone to read.
We are so happy for the new Mr & Mrs Crossett and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
