Let me just start by saying we are always so honored when friends ask us to capture their wedding day.
Randy and I remember when we first started photography and always feeling like we were just those people who decided they were photographers one day and started photographing weddings. Over the last three years of practicing, upgrading equipment and putting our all into we always feel so blessed to have friends that want us to be there alongside them to capture their wedding day.
Randy first met Ashley at Gulfstream. Ashley introduced us to her small group that we started attending a little later and that is when we met Anthony. We got to be a part of their proposal to celebrate as friends. After that we got to capture their engagement in downtown Savannah. And we even got to take a trip to the Asheville area for a fun hiking weekend with them before the big day. We loved being a part of their planning process, helping make sure the day ran smoothly.
Their wedding day was set in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina at the beautiful Sawyer Family Farmstead. The venue couldn’t have been more perfect spot for these two to get married.
They choose cabernet dresses and dark gray suits for the perfect fall color palette.
We absolutely loved their wedding details but even more than that we loved all the moments we were able to include into the day. Ashley and Anthony wrote beautiful letters to each other and that was just the setting of the entire day.
Throughout the weekend you could really see how they had touched their friends and families lives by just simply being who they were.
We are so excited to get to continue to watch their journey together through the years to come!
