Ashley and Nick’s Hilton Head Sea Pines wedding day was one I will always remember. I don’t know if it will be how easy going this couple was, amidst rain popping in and out, how beautiful a last minute indoor reception was or the epic first dance song (from the Lion King), but it was definitely one to remember.
This wedding was also one to remember because it was made up of so many of their immediate family. Ashley’s Mom and a few others spearheaded the decorations, that turned out so beautiful, even after having to pull them inside. Ashley’s sister played the guitar and sang for the music during the ceremony. Nick and his Mother’s first dance is one that will go down in history, if only I could have taken a video and photos at the same time. And the siblings of the two were part of the bridal party that stood up at the altar with them as they exchanged vows.
I love couples like Ashley and Nick, because no matter what happened it was their perfect wedding day. Despite fighting the rain, they kept their outdoor ceremony. And it couldn’t have been more perfect timing, starting with a rainbow, and the sun came out just as Ashley and her Dad approached the beach aisle. It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies.
Wishing them all the best as they head out on their honeymoon. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Roth!
