This Sea Pines proposal at Harbour Town was a dream come true. I have always wanted to have a session at a marina and this was my first one, it did not disappoint!
What I loved the most about this photoshoot was the couple though! They showed up like it was any ordinary day of exploring a new area. Matt planned the proposal so it would be authentic and in the moment. Originally we had plans of doing a scavenger hunt just outside of Matt’s family condo on Hilton Head, but with rain the forecast we decided to move it over to the Liberty Oak tree in Harbour Town, and it couldn’t have turned out more beautiful.
Just like their perfect day exploring the island, the sun came out just as they were walking over to the spot we had set up, rose petals in the shape of a heart, his and her toasting glasses and a bottle of champagne requested from the future groom.
As soon as she found out that the heart and champagne was for her the look on her face was one like out of a movie, pure joy, happiness and surprise.
We spent some time around the Liberty Oak capturing their proposal through some couples portraits and had so much fun getting to know them a little better. There is nothing better for us than watching someone ask to spend their life with their love.
