Gina and Brian were the sweetest couple! I got the pleasure of meeting them during their 1 year anniversary trip to Savannah for their Forsyth Park anniversary session. We explored Forsyth Park and the surrounding area. This being their first trip together to Savannah, I loved getting to share my favorite places in the city with them.
I also loved getting to know them and hear all about their wedding day last year. They got married on May 5th, 2018 at such a special place. Brian and Gina are from a small town in Alabama, the one where everyone knows everyone. Brian’s family owned some property including a home with some land and a barn. Instead of searching for a wedding venue to host their wedding, they decided this property was the perfect place to host their wedding.
They spent their engagement not only planning a wedding, still choosing vendors to be a part of the day, but they also decided to renovate their barn, where they would hold their ceremony and reception.
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to have such a special event in your life at such a special location.
Since they were in the middle of a renovation and planning a wedding they never made time for engagement photos. This was the first time that they were actually getting photos taken together, besides their wedding day.
Gina had told me that they were awkward, as much couples do, but these two were such naturals! We spent an hour in and around the park, as the sun came out, the rain stopped.
