Dom & Katie Engagement | Two Tides & Downtown Savannah Engagement Session

When Katie reached out to me about her engagement session in Savannah I couldn’t wait to hear more! It is unusual for a couple to reach out to me but have such a vision for their engagement session. Don’t get me wrong I love to be creative, but I also love a challenge, more than that I love being able to create and enhance a vision someone has. This ended up being a two-part session. The downtown savannah engagement session and two tides. We spent the first half of Dom & Katie’s engagement session downtown. Starting in Whitefield Square we used the gazebo to get that morning sunrise sunshine coming through the side of the gazebo. The lighting was just perfection for this part of the session. We then walked down to Jones Street to capture Dom & Katie and the pure beauty this street has to offer. The next half of the engagement session was at Two Tides Brewery. Two Tides is a new brewery in Savannah that just opened up this year. We fell in love with the décor of this place. We were also challenged with indoor lighting as the majority of our photography happens outdoors. We loved the props as well, there is nothing better than a pink (cherry) beer to use. We later learned how Katie & Dom love breweries and in fact one of their friends had the glasses we used made for the two of them for their engagement session. We really enjoyed getting to know them both and are so excited for them to be getting married on October 12, 2019, Randy and I’s second wedding anniversary.
