We had so much fun capturing Tomas and Melissa’s proposal in Charleston at Waterfront Park, right in front of the famous Pineapple Fountain. Tomas reached out to us about his Charleston South Carolina proposal plans with such a detailed planned. From the timing to the route they were walking, we knew immediately he was such a planner, which we love!
The weather was not our best friend this day, so instead of staying hidden, we usually do we were out walking around capturing some scenery of the location. Because of this we got to capture the execution of the proposal, them walking to the fountain walking hand in hand. We also got to capture them taking polaroids of each other.
The moment finally came that Tomas got down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him. A little bit of a gloomy weekend trip turned into this amazing moment in their lives. We couldn’t have been more blessed to be a part of it.

Tomas and Melissa may have met through a friend (that Tomas might have been “talking” to at the time) but it turned out to be the best decision the two of them have made. We are so excited for them to get married!!
